Eurika Springs

The thing about posting blogs every Thursday, is that I always seem to forget about the weekends.  So today’s post is going to be about last weekends just because it was incredible.  Last weekend was Easter Weekend, and I spent my first holiday away from my parents for the first time.  It was super sad, but good to be celebrating it with my friends.  My week consisted of three awesome people, who I could brag on forever.  We started the weekend with Elaine and I getting all our crap together. Friday, we literally spent the day applying to college and figuring out the future.  Honestly, it was the most productive day I have had in a while.  After that, Elaine, Tim, Asher and I went to Hurt’s Donut to celebrate finishing productivity.  The next day, the same crew went to Eurika Springs for the day. The town is filled with artsy people and a unique culture.  They had a fun festival going on throughout the town for Easter, so we danced around and walked the city! We ended the night by driving to Fayetteville for dinner and going to a cute coffee shop for swing dancing.  It was a great Saturday in great towns with absolutely amazing people!! Then Easter came around.  I attended my church, Bloom, with Tim and the service was probably the best Easter service I have ever attended.  After, we all celebrated by eating at Clockers for lunch.  The weekend was awesome, but the reason was because of the people.  Let me brag on these three for a minute, ok? Ok.  So Tim, we have been friends pretty much since the beginning off and on, but he is one of the most loyal people out there.  He keeps his word and shows so much compassion to others.  He is kind of the bomb.  Asher is one of my best friends. Even though we fight (like a lot) I know he will be there for me when I need him.  He makes me laugh harder than anyone at Link Year, and is someone I can be goofy with at any time and never feel judgement.  Now its Elaines turn.  Okay so I’m gonna keep this chill cause I could go on and on and ON about this chick.  Wow, with out Elaine this year would look so different.  She is my best friend, and has stuck to my side since the beginning.  We relate on such a deep level with struggles, passions, and even little things like loving hard core rap music.  She is the most loving and caring person I know, and truly has a heart for God.  I am so lucky to have a friend like Elaine. There are so many times I dont deserve her, and yet she sticks by my side through it all.  I am nothing but thankful for her, and for these three as a mater of fact.  Okay, enough for the sappy post.  I love these people, and loved my weekend.  What a rocken time!
